Classic car of the week - Mark 1 Lotus Cortina

The start of the Lotus Cortina story begins around 1961, when the best of Ford and Lotus got together to produce the awesome track and rallying, 180 bhp Mark 1.
The engine's 1st appearance was in 1962 at the Nurburgring in a Lotus 23 driven by the legend, Jim Clarke. By 1965, the Lotus-Cortina was winning everything in sight, but I've got to get home now, so that's enough for this week.
