Designed as a permanent installation for ARoS Aarhus Kunstmuseum in Denmark, Olafur Eliasson (famed for turning the Turbine hall at Tate modern into a glorious sunset filled concrete beach) has produced another fantastic experience of light and colour. The panoramic viewing gallery challenges perceptions of inside and outside and makes the viewer question whether they are viewing an installation, on display themselves as part of an installation or are simply still within the gallery itself. This uncertainty is very clever and I can imagine the variety of confused conversations taking place within this space simply adds to the theatre!
