The "Snowy Mountain's" reputation is down to the unpredictable glacier movements throughout the year as well as constant rock falls. But the main attribute giving it the title of deadliest mountain is the 20,000 amateur mountaineers that flock to the peak every year to have their chance to stand on the highest point in western Europe.
Adam, Michael and the rest of the summit team, Bob Lay and Peter West will have 11 months of hard training to reach the peak of their physical fitness. Recapping on skills like technical ice and mixed terrain climbing expedition campinge high altitude crevasse rescue and many more.
For Adam and Michael this is all but a stepping stone. You may remember a few months back, Sovibrant's Adam Lay trekked to Everest Base Camp for The Alzheimer's Society. That and Mont Blanc are just a few obstacles in between Adam and Michael one day Stepping foot on the heighest peak in the world, EVEREST.
Stay tuned for more information over the next year on Mike and Adams progress.
